Moving & Event Services

Campus Movers provide moving services for laboratories, offices, and other spaces on campus. Movers also support delivery, set-up, and take-down of special events. Services include:

  • Laboratory and office moving
  • Major equipment moving, including biosafety cabinets and freezers
  • Salvage delivery and pick-ups
  • Special event set-ups and support
Note: Campus Movers must be used exclusively for on-campus moves as a result of SB 820. Please submit requests well in advance to ensure moves can be scheduled within your timeframe.

Special Events Equipment and Services

You can request assistance for your departmental event, such as set up, removal, rental, and general clean up. Generally, for Office of the Registrar course-coded events, these services are provided at no charge.

Our event support includes equipment setup/teardown, and rentals, as well as general clean up prior to and after the event.

Special Event Rates

Air conditioning rates for special events include a one time set up fee of $40.00 per room PLUS the room size rate. Rates are based on room size only. Generally, for Office of the Registrar course-coded events, these services are provided at no charge. If pre-cooling is needed, please add 1 additional hour to time requested.

The following equipment is available to rent for your departmental special events. There is a $72.00 minimum rental fee (Monday-Friday) and $108.00 minimum rental fee (Saturday and Sunday) - Includes delivery and pick-up. Please remember to request that irrigation schedules be adjusted for your event. Generally, for Office of the Registrar course-coded events, these services are provided at no charge.

Important: Customer is responsible for any damages to equipment and will be charged retail value for replacements. Labor fees will be added based on the size of the event.  Please contact Renee Mihalovich for more information.

Note: Regular custodial services are scheduled Monday through Friday, Saturday, & Sunday cleaning requires an full-time employee (FTE) to be called in to work overtime as this is not during regular custodial hours.
