Landscape & Grounds

Landscape and Grounds are responsible for maintaining the exterior trees, lawns, and shrubs across UCI's nearly 1,500 acres and over 17,000 trees. UCI uses reclaimed water for campus irrigation to reduce regional use of scarce water resource. Services include:

• Grounds and turf maintenance including tree litter removal, lawn and turf mowing and edging, leaf removal, and sidewalk sweeping
• Irrigation system sprinkler and piping maintenance and repair
• Landscape designs and installation, periodic maintenance such as mulching and fertilizing
• Tree planting and trimming
